Tomohisa Okada, MD, PhD

Dr. Tomo Okada graduated medical school and trained in diagnostic and interventional radiology in Japan. After graduate school for PhD at Kyoto University, he conducted researches at National Institute for Physiological Sciences at Okazaki City and Institute of Biological Research and Innovation at Kobe City. In 2006, Dr. Okada joined the Faculty of Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine. He is currently an associate professor at Brain Imaging Research Center in charge of 7T-MRI research. As a neuroradiologist, his focus is on fMRI, VBM, DTI/NODDI, CEST, ASL and so on applied to disorders. Dr. Okada published over 150 papers in international journals, and his work has been cited around 6,000 times according to Google Scholar Citations.
