Xiaodong Zhang, PhD

Dr Zhang received his doctorate in nuclear magnetic resonance from Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Then he accomplished his postdoctoral studies in the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR), University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Zhang is a faculty member of Yerkes National Primate Research Center and Assistant Director of the Yerkes Imaging Center, Emory University. His research is focused on the development of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) techniques for research with nonhuman primates and rodents.
