Dr. Hana Malikova, PhD was graduated at First Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. At the same faculty she accomplished postgradual study in Neurosciences and gained the PhD degree. She has been working as a consultant radiologist since 2000. Between the years 2002 and 2016 she worked at Na Homolce Hospital in Prague, which is an institution specialized at Neurosciences program. During those years her primary topic was neuroimaging in epilepsy patients. She and her research team published numerous original articles dealing with post-surgery outcome included unique type of stereotactic surgery in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy; they precisely correlated MRI volumetric findings with epilepsy outcome and neuropsychological results. Since 2016 her current position is an associated professor of Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague and the Head of the Radiology Department of Faculty Hospital Kralovske Vinohrady in Prague. Currently she has been a mentor of four PhD students and her main topics of interest are gadolinium storage research, brain lymphoma imaging and long term radiation related side effects in patients treated for cervical cancer.
